NATIONAL ANTHEM: Country recording artist and musician Karen Waldrup will perform the anthem at 1:55 p.m ET, followed by a flyover by four T-38’s from the 469th Flying Training Squadron of Shepherd Air Force Base in Wichita, Texas.
WEATHER: Iffy. The Weather Channel is calling for a 35 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms for the race's start, with that percentage increasing up to 50 percent by 5 p.m., before transitioning to cloudy skies with rain under 15 percent the rest of the night.
LAST TIME: Kurt Busch won the Bristol Night Race last August, edging Kyle Larson by 0.367 seconds to win for the sixth time at the track. And one year ago, Kyle Busch earned his seventh win at Bristol after leading 117 laps and beating Larson by 0..628 seconds.
